It oversees all the different aspects of horse racing, like the rules of racing, the registration of horses, training of jockeys, providing the horses’ medical care and so on. This organization also handles the administrative aspects of horse racing, like managing entries and declarations for all the horse racing meets to be held in the UAE.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Society is one association that focuses on preserving and improving the quality of Arabian horses trained for horse racing. This is based in Abu Dhabi and is known for its tremendous contribution towards the horse racing industry out here.
Al Awani General Enterprises Est is yet another institution that supports the horse racing industry. It sells products for horse maintenance and horse racing, such as horse feeds, special saddles for horse racing, food supplements for the animals selected for horse racing, breeches, horseback polo and horse racing equipment.
