Central-America is considered as the sub-continent which is a part of North American continent. Central-America is a narrow land strip linked between South and North Americas. Central-America is bordered by Pacific Ocean in the southwest, Gulf of Mexico in the north and Caribbean Sea in the northeast. The sub-continent is always active with earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Because of the volcanic lavas the sub-continent is a fertile one with agriculturally productive areas. Several mountain ranges are found in this sub-continent and the largest among those are Cordillera Isabelia, Cordillera de Talamanca and Sierra Madre de Chiapas. Majority of the people of Guatemala, Costa Rica and Honduras are living in the valleys of these mountain ranges.
Central-America consists of 7% of the biodiversity in the world. Central-America’s major attractions are islands and beaches. The tourism industry of Central-America is flourishing because of its wide range of marine life, warm sea waters, soft golden sands, raging rivers, wild life, ancient temples, colonial town and volcanoes. Central-America consists of seven beautiful countries which are worth seeing for its bio-diversity. The seven countries are Panama, Costa Rica, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Costa Rica has best beaches and 25% of the land of Costa Rica is dedicated to national parks making it the green country of the world.
