The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has one of the busiest airports in the world. The King Khalid International airport in Riyadh is another main flights haven of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the most architecturally gifted airports in the whole world. It is designed by Hellmuth, Kassabaum and Obata, a famous architectural firm.

Considered as the premier gateway to the whole Saudi Arabian kingdom and the national flight transport center, it is proving to be among the busiest airports around the world.

More constructions are currently ongoing for more improvements to meet the growing demand of more flights to and from Saudi Arabia that will eventually cater to more flight passengers.

The King Khalid International Airport averages more than 9 million flight passengers each year and about 65,000 flights a year.
